Llewellyn Case Management

Llewellyn Case Management helps New Jersey families navigate the complex systems around autism, intellectual, and developmental disabilities crisis case management, benefits and Medicaid guidance, housing and vocational resources, and more. Their work is deeply human, and their website needed to reflect that: clear, reassuring, easy to use for everyone, and easy to find for the families who need it most.

I built LCM a fully custom WordPress site from the ground up designed for accessibility from the first line, structured for local search, and built to grow as they expand across the state.

The challenge

Two things made this project matter more than a typical build. First, the audience: LCM serves families that include people with disabilities, so accessibility isn’t a compliance checkbox it’s the difference between a site that serves its community and one that excludes it. Second, discoverability: families search for this kind of help locally and urgently, so the site had to rank in the specific New Jersey areas LCM serves, not just exist.

What I built

A fully custom WordPress theme. Designed and developed to purpose warm and reassuring rather than clinical, matching LCM’s “decades of experience” positioning with a clean, fast codebase rather than a stretched template.

A Locations system for local-SEO targeting. Using a custom Locations content type, each service area gets its own dedicated, indexable page — so a family searching for support in their specific New Jersey town can actually find LCM, instead of the site competing for one generic statewide term. It’s a foundation LCM can extend to new areas as they grow.

Accessibility built in from the start. The site was designed and developed to WCAG standards throughout semantic structure, keyboard operability, sufficient contrast, and clear navigation because the people LCM serves depend on it. For this client, accessible design is the whole point.

Structured data and technical SEO. Schema markup and clean, crawlable code so search engines and increasingly AI answer engines — understand exactly what LCM offers and where, improving the odds of surfacing for the right local searches.

The result

A site that’s genuinely usable by the community it serves, and built to be found by the families looking for help in their area. It’s a clear demonstration of the Controlled AI Integration approach applied to a mission that leaves no room for cut corners: custom design, real accessibility, local-search architecture, and structured data delivered and audited by one person accountable for all of it.
